Problem with distant networks and Record Series function

Im new to Directv. 11 year Dish customer.

Ran across an interesting problem with my new HR20. I have distant networks for ABC, CBS, and FOX. I am unable to set up a Record Series for any programs on the distant networks channels. I tried to do several shows on CBS and FOX last night. And a couple for tonight on CBS and ABC

If I go to any other channel I can set up a Record Series. I tried HDNET, my OTA NBC, and ESPN among others with no difficulty.

Just to clarify how I'm attempting this...Press the record button and get the orange R symbol. For distant network channels, press it again the orange R symbol disappears. For any other channel, changes to orange R with multiple circles. This is really weird.

Is there some sort of copy protection on those channels? Thanks for any help that can be offered.

This seems to be a guide data problem for those channels.

DirecTV made some changes last Thursday in connection with solving the Channels I Get" problem, and this has screwed up the abilty to do recordings on some of the Distant Networks. All you can do right now is wait for them to fix it.
