Anyone else having problems with 61.5. Just got this installed Thurs. and all of a sudden this morning, while switching hd channels, I get nothing. Trying to acquire sattelite signal for past 10 mins. and not getting anywhere. Anyone have any suggestions? I'm going to try and power cycle and see if that helps.

Power cycled and had an error saying a problem with my switch box configuration. If both tuners are being used, they must both be connected to same satellite. WTF, everything was fine a half hour ago.

Problem solved. FOR NOW

Well, went to TV2 and turned on, it received 61.5 fine, said it was downloading guide info, went back to TV1 and it's doing same thing. What would cause a loss of a satellite signal with only 1 tuner on, turn on other tuner and all is fine? The wife is NOT going to like this new system. Hopefully it was only a one time glitch, because I'm lovin' my DISH.

Probem back. Now 622 locked up

Watched a recorded show, try to get back to live tv and again telling me I have a switch problem. Will have to call Tech Service.

Have you tried rebooting the receiver? Hold the power button in on the receiver untill it starts the reboot process, about 30 seconds.

How many receivers do you have?
Do you have a switch on your setup?

bad outlet on surge protector

seems the problem was a power issue. Switched plug from a surge protector to direct into outlet and no problems so far. :eureka:

As I was watching local HD channels last night, I noticed the channel guide kept dropping what was showing on tv. Then all of the sudden, local fox station dropped off as well as a few other stations. The signal strength was ok on all three satellite sites. This morning, the channel guide still showed information not available, but the stations was back on. Anybody know how to quickly re-acquire the tv guide?

Check the switch in setup?

Somebody on another forum said that I needed 129 to get my local HD channels. That can't be right because I have them using two 500's and the sats are 119,110, and 61.5. He also said RSN's will also need the 129 sat. Kind of confused here. I live near D.C.

No. 61.5 has the HD that 129 has, plus the HD Demo channel. DC HD locals are on 61.5. Trust me, you don't want 129 around here.
