Program 2 40.0 remotes to a single Joey.

I bought a second 40.0 remote for one of my Joeys, but pressing the SAT button like the tech did on the 1st one dosen't work. How do I do this?

Press the front panel sys info button and then hold down the sat button on the remote.

... also need to be pretty close to the DVR for it to pair. If you pair a 32.0 it has to be right next to the antenna.

So you are able to use (2) 40.0 remotes control the same Joey? I been looking to see if that would work since I want to mirror my Joey to a different bedroom and didn't think I can link 2 remotes.

You can link up to eight remotes to one Hopper or Joey

eBay may cost you less. One thing they are not telling you, you must point the remote to the Joey, or hopper. It's uses the ir for the pairing. This took me some time to figure out.

It doesn't use IR for pairing, but does need to be close.
