HERE TO HELP YOU!
Started building a rack for my 27 gallon totes yesterday, have racks made, stained will put together when the pieces dry.
While I had my paint gun out I treated the west deck with combination of diesel and used motor oil.
Rack pretty much follows this video...

Since getting my 3D Printer last week I have been looking for Projects to do as well.

I may have to buy a 3D scanner, as the paper feed tray on my Brother Color Laster Printer broke. If I can scan that I can print a new one out and have it as good as new again. :).

Cost of paper tray vs cost of scanner.

My HP laserjet started acting up, and I was looking into cost of a new fuser or new printer. Printer was about 3 years old. I went to ebay and found a NOS in box unit from a liquidator that cost me less than the price of the included toner cartridges. Now I have a parts unit which cost me negative money.

Should have added another level, I'm pleased with, ripped 2x4's for the 2x's.
(Saw on another video with those)

My Father-in-Law loved using the full-extension drawer slides on storage projects like this.to be able to pull out the tote and have it supported would be his goal. Of course, at $15-20 a slide, the storage unit you show above would have quickly gone up in cost by an order of magnitude!

Looking forward to seeing how your entertainment center turns out. One of the sad things about selling my in-Laws' house was none of the kids or grandkids being able to take the entertainment center from the basement and keep it in the family.

Drug it in yesterday & set up to see how it's going to work.
Work in progress:
need to put hooks in back for cable management
front panels on each side of center shelves
Might add 3" trim all the way around front
Install side panels
Measurements:
Side shelves 18" x 24"
Center shelves 24" x24"
Top is open over receiver for access & ventilation ( glass shelf off old rack on top for now)
All shelves move and are removable.
