PS3 software update takes gamers to the cloud

The marketing options available on the PlayStation Network via
PlayStation 3 and PSP (PlayStation(R) Portable) systems will be updated
prior to August 11, but any changes you make in your marketing options
there will not be effective until August 11, 2011.

Please note that all account holders may update their marketing options
in the Notification Preferences within the Account Management section
of their PlayStation Network or Qriocity account accessed through the
PlayStation 3 and PSP (PlayStation(R) Portable) systems starting
August 9, 2011. Account holders may update their marketing options in
the Notification Preferences within the Account Management section of
their PlayStation Network or Qriocity account via the Qriocity.com
website starting August 11, 2011.

There is now a seperate "TV/Video Services" icon/folder shaped as a TV and contains all of the video and TV APPs and a "Video" icon/folder which contains all of the networked and saved videos. These used to all be under one folder/icon called "Video"

Cloud storage has been available to PS Plus subscribers ($50/year) for several months. The 3.70 update patch adds auto-updating to the feature as well as auto-synching of trophies for PS Plus subs only.

About time, my UK playstation account has had it from day 1 (granted I can access any off the bbc or itv programs, but it was a nice setup).
