I was wondering if anybody else had this TV and if the DirectV remote will work with it.

which DirecTV receiver & remote / and 99.99% it will work.
go into receiver's menu under remote setup and set it up

Two codes will work
10702 and 10060
Occasionally with the 10702 code, you can not get the input button programmed in but with the 10060 code, you can not run the volume up (each push only goes up or down one number)
Switch remote to TV mode
Hold mute and select til the light flashes twice
enter 5 digit code (light will flash twice again)
once you have the right code to get the input button to work
hold mute and select again til light flashes twice
enter 960 in and the light should flash twice
If the light flashes more then twice, then repeat the input step over.
