Put your hardhats on

I was reading about this the other day somewhere. They say there's nothing to worry about, but 200 lb pieces falling and no one knows where doesn't sound too good to me! Need more than a hard hat! The article I'd read said something about this satellite having ion propulsion? I didn't think that was practical yet, never mind already implemented!

primestar31: Perhaps TMI?

Comforting to know "most likely"(!) the satellite debris will plunge into the ocean. The only satellite that ever hit anybody had a 1:3200 chance of doing so. For comparison:
Injured while shaving: 1:6585
Hole-in-one while golfing: 1:5000
Injured while cutting the lawn: 1:3623
A person hit by satellite: 1:3200
Slipping in bath: 1:2232

Just walk in downtown Montreal. Corruption, bid fixing and mafia = sub-standard structures. Every year some folks die due to collapsing bridges or high rises.

Got to admit though, falling space junk is kinda cool
