I have a Quali-TV 1080 receiver that I use to watch 4:2:2 feeds. I usually scan in the feeds with my Openbox and then I punch in the transponder settings into the Q. I have a Diseqc switch on my KU satellite and I am not sure how to tell the Q receiver which port to look at. Is there a way to tell it which port to look at? I am running a 4 port diseqc switch.

yep. Now I'm going off pics of my screen shots (since the Q died a long time ago)

installation
channel scan
If you are in Diseqc 1.0 mode you will see a screen like this

If you are in Diseqc 1.2 press yellow button to go back

OK now you will see 1,2,3,4. That is the diseqc port for each one. It sounds like you slave it...thats what I did too. I had 4 satellites on it (according to the pic). Port 1 was the "feed" from the motorized, port 2 was for 99W C-Band, port 3 was for Horizon 2 74W (thats when they had a lot of feeds) and port 4 was for G10 (123W)....back when Equity was around. Since there arent many North American sat names on the list (and you cant edit them) I used satellite 1,2,3,4 in the list and just remembered what port was where
