i recently added a motorized 31 inch ku dish to my dish collection and am hitting from 72 deg to 129 and noticed something, on t6 dr gene scott tp at times i get 99 pct quality and at others as low as 58 pct. even going east and west doesnt help any. is it normal for some channels or tps to lose quality and gain it back? all in all i am very happy with the motor,except it doesnt always hit the right spots, sometimes i have to bump east a notch or west a notch and then store location.

Scott is on G26 (T6) KU Band and yes that is normal.
When you scan the arc you'll see that most religious channels bury the meter. Other channels do fluxuate. It depends on how much power they are putting out on the uplink (remember we are not their intended audience on the feeds so they use lower power. The TV stations with their 15 foot dishes have no issues getting them)
Also the quality meter depends on the box. Some read high...some read low
