I saw the news about all the new locals in hd coming out. I see little rock arkansas on the list. I live 15-20 miles from litle rock. will I be able to pick them up? How does that work? I mean how can you tell how much area is covered outside a city that gets locals in hd?

15-20 miles. You should be able to get them ota with a good indoor antenna. You can go to the Direct website and put in your zip code. That should let you know. I would think you would have no problem being able to get them through Direct once they are lit up.
Shouldn't this and all the other threads talking about "HD", be in the "HD" section of this forum?
