Question about Brokers

Just a quick question. How in the heck is broker able to setup an account for someone. How do they answer when programming provider asks them for details like driver's license number or Social Security number.I don't understand how this would work with how picky they are about ID and details.

They usually don't ask for SSN or Drivers license number. They just get a PO box setup in Canada to use as an address, and they use their phone number. They take care of getting the program setup and any program changes in the future. All you have to do for payment is supply them with your credit card number and it is billed to it automatically every month.
 
Bell Expressvu doesn't use a SIN (Social Insurance Number - Canadian equivalent of SSN - I love the acronym :p ) for account purposes. All Bell wants is a name, address, and phone number.
