Question about Dyplexing Process

I got a Tivo installed several Months ago.. and the Dtv installer told me that it was possible to use 1 Tivo receiver.. and be able to access it on another TV in another room by a Dyplexing Process.. he said ALL I needed was a Part and some Wiring to the Tivo Receiver..

Does ANYONE have a Clue if this indeed Possible? and if it is.. what is it that I need to get and Do?

It is evident that you need to call the Tech back, and have him install the Diplexer for you...

Why didn't you get him to do it while he was there??? That would have been more cost effective, wouldn't' it???

I wanted Him too..

install it.. but he told me that he was out of them... and did NOT have the Part.. and I cannot get ahold of this Guy...

so.. in my quest to try and get this done.. I am on my own.. unless someone else has any ideas???

List the area you are in, with a contact number, and put a note out to the Mods, to have a Professional Satellite Tech contact you...

I guess the guy you had out, was not a "Real Pro" was he... LOL

Hey PNP, it was nice chatting with you!!!

It's a shame that the "HSP" installer that DirecTV sent out was not a real pro, otherwise he would have had diplexers on board his truck, and would have been able to make a little extra money... LOL
