Question about Platinum

I used to have Platinum on my account but had to drop it for a while until new job started up. I want to add it back but when I looked in the guide (all channels list) I couldn't find it or HDNETmovies. Are these channels still on Dish?

A quick chat with a CSR told me that Dish does not carry them anymore. I had to come confirm that with SATguys.

What's the deal? Thanks for any help.

On my guide I have no channel 383 (HDNETmovies) or 385 (MGM) Is my equipment screwed up? They installed a big dish and then I got a small dish they had to install so I could get my locals in HD. Line of sight issue they said.

Make sure your guide is set to "All Chan" and it should show up in red. Can you send me a PM with your account number/phone number?

Sometimes the non-subscribed premium package channels do not show in the guide. Dish hides them on the receivers.

None of the platinum channels were in my guide till I subscribed. Red or otherwise. As garys said, sometimes a premium channel will not show up till you subscribe. You don't see the RSN's either unless you subscribe to that sports package.

Yep agree with Tampa8...The channels are available but you won't see them until you subscribe.
