:mad:I live in Sanford, NC.

The Charlotte Bobcats games are shown on Sports South, but they are blacked out in my area. I called DTV and they said they are only shown inside a 75 mile radius to Charlotte and are blacked out outside of that due to low customer demand.

After contacting the Bobcats, they said DTV did not want to pay the fee to carry the games for everyone, that is why they black them out. They are also blacked out on league pass because they are show locally.

Is there any way around this? Could I swap cards with one of my friends that live in the Charlotte area? Would that allow me to see the games?

Any other ideas I could try to watch the games?

27330 is my zip. i should be getting the charlotte bobcats in my area, but when i tune to the game it is blacked out. it is blacked out on league pass too.

anyone else have ideas on how to get around this?

you are outside of the Bobcats area. Per the link I provided above

With any DIRECTV base package (CHOICE or above, or MÁS ULTRA or above):

Mid-Atlantic Sports Network HD (Ch. 640) - HD Available
# Nationals (HD Available)
# Orioles (HD Available)

FS South HD (Ch. 646) - HD Available
# Braves (HD Available)
# Carolina Hurricanes (HD Available)

SportSouth HD (Ch. 649) - HD Available
# Braves (HD Available)

with the sports pack added

FS Cincinnati HD (Ch. 661) - HD Available
# Reds (HD Available)

The only way to get the Bobcats is to "move" to the Charlotte area
