I an new to FTA and just purchased a XTC 5080 PVR.It is up and running with some freezing.I have a new software update.When I download the new update will I have to rescan all the channels?

The file that is on the unit is the v754 and the new one that I have yet to download is the v755.Lots of channels are freezing.Also some problems with the EPG.Thanks for the help.

whats your current setup (dish size, LNB type, etc)
what specific channels have the freezing?

99% of the free to air channels do not have a EPG so thats a moot point. Its hard to help when there is too much vagueness in the post

The dish is a 18 x 24 elliptical with two lnb's.One is echo 6,8 and the other is echo 7.Freezing on all ppv and other channels as well.
