Question on VIP 622

I recently got setup with dish and have a Dish VIP 622 running in Single mode. When I set up DVR timers it seems to arbitrarily pick tuner 1 or 2 to record to (I assume that's what the little TV with the 1 or 2 inside means). I remember hearing the VIP 622 had only 1 HD tuner so if I record an HD show and it uses 2 does it still record in HD? And if not how to I make it pick a different tuner? Thanks!

There are 2 HD Sat. tuners but only 1 OTA tuner. To switch between tuners you can hit the "Swap" button.

ALL of the 622 tuners can record HD. You can record THREE HD programs at the same time (if you have an OTA antenna hooked up and can receiver local HD stations).

Sounds like another person who confused tuner with output.
