Cleaning out my basement and I am wondering if the following Satellite Receivers have any value. Are they junk or can they be sold (or donated for use in Tibet etc). Collector's items? Have a couple of each...

Dish Network Model 4000 w/UHF remote

Sony SAT A50 w/UHF remote (best remote ever on sat system inho)

RCA Ultimate TV for direct tv units

does it matter if they have smart cards?

Thanks in advance for the input!

Without the latest G3 cards with Dish Network might as well consider it junk. They cost $50 plus S&H which is $15 and you can buy a receiver for that much or less.

smart cards with units

Dish Network smart cards are Blue with various network logos

Direct TV Yellow w/ # 3 on them

Direct TV Blue & Gray # 4 on them

Looking to add local HD channels to my HD ready tv
