Questions about PTAT....

If I set up PTAT, it will record in hd? But not take up any room on my dvr? I can save a program for more than 8 days? Does it then take up room/hours on my dvr? I tend to save entire seasons of programs I like, and rewatch them...and hd takes up a lot room...
I am wondering if I should set up PTAT or set up individual timers?

Yes PTAT only records from your HD locals, so if its in HD it will be recorded in HD.

You can save any show you want to your own partition keeping it for as long as you want.

PTAT uses its own partition so it uses none of your space.

and, if you want to save whole seasons, you have 1TB of disk space on the Hopper. If you need more you can add up to 2TB more on an external HD....

or multiple external hard drives. I have 3 external drives connected with a usb hub.
