rocatman probably had it straight when he said it will likely continue to be used for locals ( how's that for a double weasel qualifier on my part).

SD works here, but my sub authorizes me for nearly every channel on there, and that "ineligible" thing just torqued me!

They use space allotted for RSNs, so probably just carryover from what they might put up for a blackout message.
