R10 Slimline 5 Compatible?

Does the Tivo Directv R10 Receiver work with a slimline 5 dish? I bought one recently and tried to install it in a room that has a good signal but it couldn't see the signal. Thanks for the help!

It should work fine, but it won't get any hd channels. Do you have any signal strength on 101, 110, or 119? Are you connected through a separate multiswitch?

No multi-switch. I am not getting signal on any satellite on a known to be good connection. I have heard that they are not compatible and that maybe the R20 is? Anyone know?

depends if it is a legacy sl5 or a swm sl5

I set mine to a phase 2/3 as dish type and it had no issues working.
