R22 Question

Why does my R22 have 4 lights on the front that go from 480i to 1080i? Mine is always on the 480p. Is there a way to switch it to the 1080i? Seems like read somewhere before that you could but couldn't find it.

Do you currently have an H series receiver (H2x or HR2x) on your account? If so, you can go into your settings on the R22 and you should be able to change them to get the HD content.

I have a HR21 box as my primary receiver and I have 3 R22's all getting the HD content on them.

I have the R22 and two regular non dvr non hd boxes, just plain Jane receivers.

Unless you have a HD receiver also on the account the R22 can only be used in SD mode...I'm the same way.
If you had a HD receiver too then D* would "turn on" the HD option on the R22 but ONLY if there was another HD receiver on the account
