radio quite zone

This is not anything political I heard they are fracking near or around the radio quite zone would that effect the radio telescopes? I watched on rt they said they fracking in Virginia thats why I asked?
 
From what I have watched on TV and read, yes it can affect them, although it is minimal. What they do is coordinate with each other so that astronomers will know when they are doing a certain thing at at certain time.
 
I thought it would create sound waves that could disrupt thier sensitive radio equipment.
 
That is why they have to keep coordinated. :)
