Mr. Smith,
From your post, I am now confused...
I have the OX119 and everything is working great, no problems at all....
You mentioned Ox011B, is this the next update to improve further on the 119 or is this one a step backward ?

If things are working now, should we load the new one or ride it out ?
any ideas ?

It's the next release candidate. Remember the numbers are in hex so 11B is a higher number then 119. :D

Only load it if you want to test it for the DirecTV programming team. No need to load it if you have no problems and don't want to test it. I personally load every new test version to do my part to help make the HR20 a better product. But then I like to live on the edge with beta versions.

I forgot about the numbers being in hex format, I have not done anything with hex in a long time (knowingly, that is)
Yes I will force the update, I too have been updating all along and feel that it will help in the long run.

I was hoping peoplewould start showing up in this thread so we could share what happens, and if we notice anything different :)

I have a good idea, but I don't know how you are monitoring it.

Decent PC ( check requirements for TSreaderLite at www.coolstf.com ), the SW - TSReader[Lite], a PCI card like TH1020A, signal from 101W and a lot of free time for the hobby: researching stream/packets/segments/etc and writing own DLL and EXE.

Ugh, I downloaded this yesterday and when my wife got home late last night, she thought I hadnt done it so she tried it and put us back to 10b

From most reports D* likes this update and may be going National real soon, so hang in there.
I didn't have any real issues with the 10B anyways, 115 introduced a problem for me that I had not had, but 119 fixed that.

So, do you think it is out there for everyone, if they force it.
That must be good news if D* put it back in the data stream.
Has it been there consistantly all along now (this version), or did they put it back up ?

Ugh, 3rd day with my DVR and its recordings with Law & Orders are completely black and 24 didnt record even though it was scheduled.

That patch needs to go national soon

What software are you running currently ?
IF you have the 11B version, try doing a normal reboot.
Just push the red button by the acess card.

This MAY fix your issues.
