[VOOM] Will Voom's DVR have HDMI output?

Can someone confirm that the DVR that will be released in March will
have an HDMI output?

I don't think it would make sense to have their next generation DVR
have the antiquated DVI output. Anyone familiar with the
Scientific-Atlanta 8000HD and 8300HD will know what I am referring to.

In my opinion, many manufacturers will stick with DVI for a while. It's
easy to get a HDMI to DVI cable, and the DVI compatible TV's out-number the
HDMI ones by quite a bit. My TV has neither, so I appreciate the Component
Output on my Sci 8000HD :)

Well, I've got an SA8000HD from TimeWarner but they refuse to enable
the DVI in software so I haven't a clue what you're talking about :)

I'm just hoping that when Voom does release their HD-DVR that they
don't cripple half the outputs like TWC did. The only active outputs
on my cable DVR are the component outputs. (no composite, no s-video,
no usb or firewire, etc.)

Has Voom actually announced that DVR would arrive in
March 2005? The only info I can find is off their
website stating that DVR would arrive in 2005....but I
read that to mean it could be anytime in 2005, even a
year from now.
