Ok. I've been doing a log of reading the past week.
Here's what I plan to get:
Viewsat VS2000 Extreme
SG2100 motor
36" Dish
Single KU Band LNB
DiSeqC Switch
Couple of questions though:
1. I plan on adding more recievers in the future. I need a dual or quad LNB correct?
2. Do I need a DiseqC switch if I only have 1 LNB?
3. How does the multi receiver systems work with the motor? I would think it would conflict if multiple receivers are trying to move the dish.
4. I'm in NY. Is a 36" dish big enough or should I go for a 39"?

Lots of usefull help from this forum. Thanks for everyone's help!

1. A dual would work the best. The quad has 2 circular (DBS) and 2 linear (KU) outputs
2. no
3. one controls the motor. The rest just follow the lead. Only one can control the motor at a time. If you feel you need more than one receiver controlling a motor, you might want to get 2 motorized setups (motor, dish, lnb)
4. 36” should be fine. The bigger the better but shipping rates can be a bugger on a 39”

Oh.. That was just the link to the first one I found... :D I've found some with .3 DB noise..

Thanks for all the help! I'm sure I'll need more help setting things up later.

Iceberg, Does this mean my Ivacom I am installing should do much better then the LNB that came on my DirecPC dish ? I believe you use both ?
