In another thread is was stated:

"There is no risk of reboot looping if you use the latest firmware and never load a user database file that was created on old firmware (before version .13). Remover the power source for a few moments after loading any files to the micro to clear any legacy memory blocks."

I understood that if a satellite was deleted without first removing the associated channels, it would cause a reboot loop. Has this been fixed?

When was the "satellite was deleted without first removing the associated channels, it would cause a reboot loop" fixed? Because I have the Feb 2013 release and had to JTAG the box.

Fixed in Nov/Dec 2012 with Version 13 and newer.

This will not occur using firmware version 13 or newer. The firmware must be updated using the attached Default Data Base (satellite/transponder list) with a Factory Reset performed and the power source removed before setting up the installation menu configuration and scanning any channels. Failure to perform a factory reset then remove the power after an .abs (firmware) update or failure to remove the power after a .udf (user database) update could result in this issue.

There is no JTAG option for the microHD. The recovery process is only an internal serial connection for communicating with the ALI Editor software.
