Receive Mpls Locals in AL for Winter?

I have been told that I should not have to change my designation for channels when I spend a month in AL since I am paying for HD and locals using a VIP622. The E* Tech CSR said that they do not check as long as you pay for what they get. I asked about the phone and was told that was to upload charges for PPV. My question is what kind of trobule can I get into if I do not mention the move and just hook up to my dish in AL?

you will get the HD locals (big 4) only. The spotbeam for the SD channels is pretty much MN minues the NW part od the state by the ND border
