receiver on standby

How do you put the receiver on standby? I hope (keep fingers crossed) that the new software comes tonight and I want to make sure I pick up the new software and I guess the best way to do this is to put the receiver on standby. I'm having an ungraded antenna installed tomorrow and I want to be able to scan for channels manually.

Just press the power button on your remote to "turn it off"
I doubt it's coming though (not yet), since we haven't heard any announcements from Wilt...
