Recommedations For Personal H.D. For 722

Hi All,

Wow, did Dish screw up my 722!! After reading many posts here I get the drift of the search mode problem on the 722's. I am going to buy a personal HD for the Dish unit. I have been told that 500-750 GB's is good.

I have 2 HP pers. HD's I use for other purposes. Dish told me any brand will work just fine. Before I buy a drive does anyone have suggestions as to what make works well? Or, perhaps a brand that caused TROUBLE with your 722?

If the unit will only work with the 722 I need to pick a "winner". I sure don't need anymore problems. I have lots of high def stuff stored. I appreciate all feedback. Thanks all.

The Western Digital's My Book Series. They work quite well with and look very good: they look like a book and match the 722's black color. There is a 1TB WD My Book "Home" edition that I can confirm (as has one other on this board) does work. Highly recommend WD My Book models.
