i have an EpicVue dish that was configured for DirectTV. I have set this up to try and get it going on my Dish Network VIP211K instead of the King Tailgater.

DIP switches, and did the Checkswitch, but it never comes back with anything.. it never detects the switch.. Ive confirmed that the 12V power is on via Green LED under the dome, an the DC from the Receiver via the yellow light under the dome...
it moves and does its thing, but never comes back..
- does it have to see all 3 satellites to be able to configure as a SW64? or can it just detect as sw64 even though it cant see sats?
- i can use the same coax and receiver to get going with my existing king tailgater, so im thinking the coax is ok.
ideas?
