Recording Problem on HR20-100

While attempting to record American Idol tonight, I noticed that it was not recording. When I went to "History" it said, "This episode was canceled because of an unexpected error.(3)" I never had this happen before. Any thoughts?

yeah, go under menu, settings, setup, info and test, scroll down and check temp. on the hd dvr, if its over 127 F, then your receiver is overheating and not working properly. usually common if you have it in a spot where it doesnt get any ventilation. if its normal temp. then its most likely your hard drive gone bad.

check your priorities. Is it possible that Idol came on when 2 other shows were recording with a higher priority?
