Can I say I feel uneasy at staring down the barrel of several users' avatar's revolvers or guns? With this country's long history of gun violence, it does not say "Family-Friendly" to see this from my fellow SatelliteGuys.

edit: Thanks, Ronnie-

There are a few others, but never get challenged.
I like this reminder. And that is just what it is, a reminder. Now it is up to the member to correct the issue or we as members can report said member as being less than family friendly. Our moderators have lives outside of Satellite Guys and don't get paid to moderate. They only see what they are looking at. They can use our help as much as we use their help.

crazy
Please bring these others to my attention. There are some that might be considered grey area, that I just kind of gloss over. However, if you see anything blatant, please let me know in a private message.
Gray is the perfect analogy....but it is a person who is just like you....lets not be silly and it's a family and we have some that my find it funny or cute, but has cartoon violence attached to it....you can pm me if you like?....its just a double standard

Mine was cartoonish and had Homer with a gun barrel, but has been changed. There was a whole reason for that being the avatar 10-15 years ago but dang if I can remember why now. It was a joke amongst several members back in the day and I honestly forgot it was even there.

I'm not even sure if you meant me, but since you said "just like you" I was curious.

If you meant someone else, or several someone else's, be all means, guys feel free to let us know.
Privately if you want.
Some people post so rarely that may have these things that easily escape our attention. Or we don't go in certain areas where some regulars post so we won't ever see them or they simply don't catch our eye.

If it's missed and it's blatant rule breaking, I can assure you that the staff isn't doing it intentionally or to show favoritism.

The quote was a family site....one can find it funny...some may just question how family it is looking down the barrel of a gun?...have children or grand kids that have dealt with something that funny?.....just love to point out hypocrisy.....just dont throwi rocks if you live in a glass house....thats all
