I recently purchased a Hisense U8N and I am quite pleased except that none of the Hopper Remote codes seem to work well. They either send me to odd screens when I modify the volume or they do not consistently turn off the TV.

Has anyone successfully paired either the 54 or 40.0 remotes to this TV? If so would you share how you did it?

If it's a Roku Hisense, try TCL. Those worked well for the early ROKU TV's, especially the ONN Roku's

OK... my TV code is 5485, you can also try 3519.

One caveat: Hisense TVs will sometime require you to confirm power off by pressing OK. The Dish remote select will not do that. In that case you have to confirm with the Hisense remote to get the TV to power off. I have no idea why they do that. It does not happen all the time, and I have never been able to understand why it happens sometimes, but most of the time not. That same behavior happens with the Hisense remote.

It is not a Roku. It has a Google TV interface.
