I had a 622 installed this morning but the book that comes with the reciver does not list remote codes for my Olevia TV. I tried to do the scan with no results. Does anyone know where I could get the correct code. The Olevia is a model 232V. Thanks.

I'm wondering about this too. I have a 211 on my Olevia 532 and none of the codes work. Would Dish tech support be able to help, ya think?

same here...

I've got an Olevia 237V and am wondering the same thing. Apparently from online research I've done no one knows anything about the remote codes for Olevia TV's, which seems really weird to me because they are selling like crazy!

I have an Olevia LT27 LCD tv and I am using it with a Dish 811 receiver and Dish 8.0 UHF remote. I was able to scan for the tv code and 679 is the code that works for me. It may work on your Dish remote too.

I have the 542I and there are no codes for the Olevia. The folks at Olevia will tell you that. Another board has a pretty extensive forum on this topic. Codes are in the works but probably not available for awhile. The only fix is buy a learning remote such as the Harmony series. They work great.

Have yo ubeen able to get the Harmony to work with the Olevias and the Dish boxes? I'm willing to give that a try, but don't want to spend the money on it for it to not work. Have you or anyone tried it...or is it something that SHOULD work?

Great idea, if it works!

I have the Harmony 720 and VIP 211 and it works fine. Even lets me put my favorite channels on it. I downloaded the icons from the internet and they look great. Go check the avs forum site and get all the info on the harmony remotes and the Olevia tv's.

I just got the Olevia 232T from Target, I think it is the same as the 232V. No codes seem to work for me. I don't think the wife will let me buy the Harmony remote for awhile after buying a 32" LCD. ;)

Hope they get the code for it soon.

A Sony learning remote will work, I use one. They have one for around $20, the RM-VL600. It can learn the Olevia remote and also the Dish DVR remote.

Same here. Harmony was too much $$$. The Sony remote works just fine at a fraction of the cost of the Harmony. I have the Olivia 537 and there is no code I could find anywhere that will make the Dish remote operate the TV.

Here's my deal: My 622 box is downstairs and the Olevia is upstairs. So I ordered the IR to UHF kit from Dish, but the 10.1 remote it came with won't work the Olevia. That Sony learning remote seems like a good deal, but what I really need is an UHF remote. So unfortunately the Sony won't work for me either. I was looking at the Harmony that does UHF, I think its the 880. Anybody got any other ideas?

On a funny note, I got on the Dish tech chat to see if they had other codes, the lady insisted that 10.1 doesn't sound like a model of remote that Dish would carry. Funny.
