Remote control IR and UHF?

Is the VOOM box UHF remote capable? There is a plug on the back of the receiver that says UHF. I was thinking that it might be like some of the old C Band receivers. That would be nice I could put the box out of the way and free up space for some of my other toys.

Yes it is. The UHF input is active. You can use a 3-d party UHF remote with VOOM.

You can also buy a product called The Remote Range Xtender and convert VOOM remote to a UHF remote.
