It's worked forever...until this afternoon. Turned the DirectTV Box & TV on, everything appears to work...except for the info button...just get the "Boink" sound. Turned it off, restarted...unchanged.
Anyone have a clue?

Sounds like a button gone bad. Did you try removing and installing the batteries? Probably not it, but worth a shot.
You can try taking the face off and clean out the inside button.
