Hello I just got a new TV, and I was trying to program the remote for the 625 receiver. The TV is an AKAI, and I tried all of the codes and did a scan and nothing happened. Is there a generic code for something like this? I normally wouldn't care, but I am trying to make this as simple as possible for my great grandma.

try this
hold tv button till solid red then hit tv power then arrow up until tv turns off once tv turns off hit the pound key
good luck
