I like the fact that his glasses ,that should be 15 - 16 years old still look great and the lenses are not scratched. Even though he gets in fights, get's beaten and even dies, & comes back from the dead. I guess we are supposed to think that the optometrist is still up and going in a world with out electricity.

Nah, he just thought ahead and had a case of glasses made up. ;) That is what is backpack is full of.

I can almost understand Aaron's glasses situation from the perspective that he finds new glasses on the black market (collected from corpses or looted from closed up eye clinics) that while not perfect for his current vision are good enough. I usually have 3-4 pairs of old prescriptions on hand that I could get by with in a pinch until I get around to donating them (the lenses generally don't have any scratches, though they do get cleaned up before being sent to third-world countries).

I actually have a bigger problem with the Spanglish, unplugged versions of classic rock songs in this show. All the musicians they showed in Mexico were way too young to know the original versions, and they'd likely be unable to learn how to play them like that from dug up sheet music alone.

I'm waiting for the "unplugged" version of "Pretty Fly For a White Guy(Give it to Me Baby)."

I thought the Monroe Federation was "gone". They showed an MF camp or something, with their flag, suggesting Monroe and his son are heading there. Don't know if it was a flashback or current though.

Since Philly was nuked at the end of 1st season , I don't see how their would be much left of the Monroe Republic that wasn't radiated or left smoking . Although, Atlanta ,Georgia was nuked as well and they show people in a survivor camp a few miles from the blast site . So who knows?

You would think ,but on this show it doesn't seem to take them long to go from one end of the country to the other without many days elapsing. Hell they went to Mexico and back with little effort ,and yet they do it all with horses.

I just assume they edited out all the long boring trips.
