I can find very little other than the plot. Notice the pilot is tonight and nothing next week, just wondering if it's another "bought from someone else and already been cancelled". Or is it an original?

I didn't see this until it had already started. Luckily Syfy has it OnDemand since I don't see another airing.

Thats kinda why I use the Zap2it guide. Its custom for you by your provider and will only show the channels you select. I go on weekly and look through my channels for the following week from the 7-10 time slots, it'll say "Premier", "New" and "Finale" next to them. Makes it easy to find stuff.
I missed this one also, when making my dvr alert for the weekend I checked syfy for the morning but not the evening...
I still haven't started Defiance yet...
I'm still sitting on it too. Not sure when I'll make time to watch it. I did the same thing with Alphas and ended up deleting it all after it was cancelled.
Defiance = Backwoods version of "Star Trek: Deep Space Nine" meets the "Hatfields and the McCoys".
Finished the 2nd half of the pilot last night. Wasn't bad, definitely leaves it on a cliff hanger as to whats next.
