RIP VIP 622

Well Saturday night my VIP decided to call it quits. The guide and pictured locked up, I powered down the unit, and than it wouldn't come back on. I called dish up after I got a error about the DVR not working. So I lost everything and can not pause, or record anything until they send me another receiver. I asked to get a VIP 722, but the guy said no. I got a 15 dollar charge for the new one. The old receiver lasted almost 3 years. I wish it would of gave me a warning before it gave up.

Keep your fingers crossed that once you get your new one, Dish wins its TiVo patent infringement lawsuit so they don't disable the DVR function or shut it down until you get your 211 or whatever they will be giving out.
