It's not March Madness but there is plenty of craziness that takes place in the college baseball tournament. Texas enters as the #1 team, but they haven't gotten past the 1st round regionals in 3 years. Last year it was a 4 seed Fresno St who won it all so anything can happen.

BC got into the tourney for the first time since 1967.

The Eagles hockey team- who were the defending National Champs- didn't even get into the tourney this year.

The Eagles football team had it's eight straight bowl wins snapped.

The Eagles basketball team was one and done in the NCAA Tourney.

It's the Eagle baseball team that's had the most successful 2008-09 season!!

That's surprising. BC is usually a doormat in the ACC. They are coming off a good ACC Tournament. BC has played lots of good teams this year and they have nothing to lose while Texas has been the king of the choke the last couple of seasons. The Eagles could be dangerous.

I like The U's and Florida States chances. I have seen them play acouple of times and they have some serious talent.

What hump? Texas has won 2 NC's this decade. Carolina is due. 3 straight years to the CWS and no title. 4th year could be the charm, I hope. The Heels are seed 4th so they are favored on paper to get back to Omaha.

Well they shouldn't lose in the 1st Round again. In fact Texas ought to make the CWS, but they are not lacking for NC's. The choke line was about the fact they have been ranked in the top 10 the past couple of seasons and lost in the 1st round.

Stephen Strasburg, who is supposed to be the #1 overall pick in the upcoming MLB draft, threw 15 strikeouts for San Diego St....and LOST! Virginia won 5-1. He may need to get used to it. Word is the Nationals, who have the top pick, are taking him and are calling him up right away.

Texas beat Boston College 3-2 in 25 innings. It was the longest game in NCAA history. Both teams still have to play again Sun. BC will now have to win 3 games in 2 days to stay alive. Good luck.

Big Ten teams should be barred from playing in NCAA championship tournaments/games and give it to teams that are more competitive
