Got a "tweet" via Dish Network's Twitter that 3 Local Markets will be announced today for HD debuts tomorrow. They have already announced Bismark/Dickinson, ND...so 2 more to go and I guess we'll know. I sure hope they hit tomorrow!!!!

Just announced, all locals for Roanoke/lynchburg will light up tomorrow! And they also announced there will be a few more markets to announce today! Good news for the others!

Figured the Baton Rouge ones wouldn't go since they were fighting with probably 2 stations. They have been in a dispute for WBRZ's SD feed for it seems like almost a year now. Not that I really care though "U-Haul" and OTA!

Scott, how often do they have these retailer chats?

I have noticed the slide you posted, I must have missed it before.

Panama City Florida was uplinked on April 29th. Is there a "rule of thumb" as to when Dish actually lights up the HD locals. Is it usually a month or two after the up link?

How long had the people in these markets waited before they actually received their HD locals.

Just curious.

Scott, what have you heard about Columbus/Tupelo DMA that was surposed to have been lit up last month per the last retail chat I think. So far we do not have them, was there a problem that you know of???

That's about par for the course. From a definite launch date of April 23 to sometime in the summer. It isn't even being referred to as "soon". Maybe by this time next year we'll see something.
