Imagine the Patriots/Jets/Raiders/Steelers team plane going down....

How would that affect you as a fan? How would it affect the league? How would our team rebuild, and what impact would that have?

I read many years ago that our leagues do have contingencies in place should such a tragedy occur. In most cases they would have a draft of players from other teams in an attempt to get the team functional in a short period of time.

Yesterday I read that 5 were associated with the Wings, one was the goalie Stephan Liv, in the Wings organization that had previously played in town here for a short while.
