I am looking for an inexpensive signal finder for various reasons that works with both DirecTV and Dish. Our sponsor Sadoun has a nice kit for around $34 after shipping. I don't do professional installs so I'm not in the market for a $50+ meter.

Has anyone used this one or have any thoughts? I know it will prob work just for the primary "birds" (101 on DirecTV and 119 on Dish) but, in my past experience, once you have the main "bird" tuned in the rest kinda falls into place nicely if you have the tilt, angle, and skew all set right based upon the receiver's instructions.

Mine is similar: Satellite Finder - RadioShack.com but Winegard brand and no battery supply (Sat Recv. powered only). Worked great for my first and only DirecTv install at home. I have the slimline (5LNB?) dish, with HD pack. Got low 90's for signal strength down here in Neenah, easy to use, no complaints, Sadoun's with battery probably even better.
