Samsung and Amazon

I have two Samsung smart TVs. One has the Amazon app and the other one doesn't. The one that does the app doesn't work. Shouldn't both Samsung's have the Amazon app or is it a hardware issue? Both TV soft wares are up to date.

55" UN55D8000 is TV that doesn't show the Amazon app, purchased November 2011. 40" UN40ES6100 is TV that has the Amazon app but it doesn't work, purchased November 2012.

Good find. Yep, looks like no Amazon app for the 2011 Samsungs. Do you know if the newer Samsung TVs have the Amazon app? I know my Samsung 2012 model has it but doesn't work. Amazon app works great in my two Vizio TVs. Wonder if the Hopper will get the Amazon app in the future!
