I have a HD-SAT 520 that is going bad. I have unplugged and reset it a number of times. After it is plugged in it says Wait and then it finds all D* channels and then all ATSC channels. It will work for 5 minutes to 4 hours and then it will say wait and then will lock up and you can not turn it off unless you unplug it.
I live in San Antonio (TX) and have not found any one here to work on it. I E mailed LG and found out they want $ 89.00 just to look at it. I use it when I travel in the RV. If I am going to be there a week or more I set up the dish. Also the camp grounds have cable plus I can use my OTA for HD.
My question is will the H20 be able to do all that? Or just bring in D* and OTA HD.
I don’t want to get it fixed and then find out with the new MPEG 4 that I still need to get the H 20.
What should I do??
