Satellite 119

Is Satellite 119 Shared with Direct TV I see they both use a satelite called 119

I don't think the satellite itself is shared, but the slot certainly is. In fact, so is the 110 slot.

There is nothing to stop them from sharing the actual birds, but they can't share transponders at the moment because they use different encoding.

It would be smart if they could share bandwidth when they go to MPEG-4, but it ain't gonna happen.

I am trying to install direct tv, but can only find 119, need 101

do you think my elevation is fine since I hit 119
