Hello folks,

Would anyone or has anyone knows why MEGA MILLIONS LOTTO drawings LIVE satellite fedd
isn't up on the bird???? For Tuesday December 5th.
It was on Galaxy 19, TP-23, C-band, analog.

Would someone check this out from WSB-TV Atlanta for an update on Mega Millions
Live satellite feed????

When I tuned on Galaxy 19, TP-23, C-band analog for Mega Millions drawing, all the
sudden it's show snow. NO signal from WSBTV Atlanta.

HELP????

Has they stop broadcasting Mega Millions Lotto drawing????

That's why I'm asking around IF anyone is familiar with WSB-TV Atlanta TV station.

They're the one that uplink the LIVE drawing on Galaxy 19, TP-23, Vertical and Analog.

Hope all helps with answers.

Thanks,

Wow, didn't even know they had an analog feed on there - no analog receivers here. Perhaps they have gone digital or switched to fiber distribution?

The only thing I understand was back in 2014, Mega Millions Live drawing is on or was on
AMC-9 C-band, Digital HD, and Powerball is on SES2 Ku band, Digital HD.
Would anyone check to see IF that still up there, TODAY????

Let me know,
Thanks.

I can confirm a lottery channel on SES2, but I'm not sure which lottery it is .
It is at 12050/V/4800.
The on screen color bars say WFSU SOC.

C-band or Ku band??? On SES2???? it might be for Powerball Lotto provided by
Florida Lottery.

Let me know,
Thanks.

Hey Folks,

Guess what???

On Friday night, Dec. 8th, I checked back on Galaxy 18 satellite, C-band to see whether
would WSBTV uplink Mega Millions Live Lotto drawing on analog C-band.

YUP, THEY DID!!! THEY CAME BACK TO ANALOG C-BAND!!!!

Maybe they FORGOT to uplink on Tuesday Dec. 5th
I thought it was far from over, never be on analog, again.
But so far, they're back

For the laugh, : -))) Maybe one of WSB TV employee is one of our member and may
have read this thread??? HAHAHAHAA@@@ : - )))

FUNNY, they used an HD 16:9 format on a analog C-band signal. ?????
Probably the transmission from their Digital HD feed on AMC-9 C-band satellite????
Well, it's from their studio, anyway. Maybe the same format for both satellite
simultaneously....

WSB-TV in Atlanta, probably does has an Digital HD feed on AMC-9 satellite C-band.

Would anyone check on that one????

What do you think???

Thanks.

Okay was just curious. I had a 450 and a 350 I think it was. Those were nice receivers.

I have 2 of GI 450 receivers back up in the closet.
Both still works good. : - )))
And am using the GI 650i receiver. Still work good, too since 2004.

Thanks.

Hi Folks,

It's ME again. : - ))))

I do not know how to explain this without pictures and
in person. : - ((((

I knew this might be of a problem.

I wish that IF any of you were to be,locally to check
the servo motor on my feedhorn.

Just found out about trying to get ABC Network feed on
Galaxy 16 C-band. Whether IF it the Satellite AV
GEOSAT PRO HDVR-3500 receiver, or is it something else.

I spent all of this afternoon,ON Thursday December 14th.

I decided to look at another possibility of why I'm NOT just
getting ABC Feeds on Galaxy 16 C-band satellite and got
most of the channels on it.

I took a long broom to reach at the feedorn, and I tapped it
onto the dome cover, and on one of the legs that has cables
tied up into the dome cover to the feedhorn.

And guess what???? I only got the frame of ABC Feed
color bar tone, but NOT 100 %. JUST MOSTLY BREAK UPS
audio. and weak video.

I was able to hear the feed by using a FM system, which I use
pocket receiver with an ear bud, and the transmitter with a microphone on
the TV speaker, inside the house. : - ))))

IF I change the channel on the GEOSAT PRO HDVR-3500 receiver,
and back to ABC feed, then it will show blank and say
"NO SIGNAL",.

So, I'm thinking IF maybe either the receiver itself, NOT getting any
voltage. Or the servo motor on the Co-Rotor II feehonr, in the dome cover.

Remember I'm connecting directly from an LNB to the GEOSAT PRO HDVR-3500
receiver. NOT splitters or any devices in between.
This is directly from an LNB.

I even tried with the splitters and the devices that I have been suing,
shows the same results, able to see a frame of ABC feed color bar
tone, audio break-up.

IF any of you would like to see a short video clip of ABC feed color
bar tone break-up, please PM me, and I would be happy to upload
to you from my GMail. The short video clip is also a big file.
Other than that you can see the photos that would give you an idea
of what I'm talking tbout.

I wish I knew saomone who would be willing to go up on my ladder to the
feedhorn to look into it on the servo motor and the wiring, while aiming at
ABC Feed on Galaxy 16 C-band.
I CANNOT DO THIS MYSELF. : - (((

But what I did the best I could, was while I got the frame of ABC
feed and audio break-up, I tried to elevate the dish both up and down,
and declination bolt.

NO DIFFERENCE!!! IT DI NOT HELP TO CLEAR UP ABC FEED.
Still audio break-up and frames of the feed,

I have a 6 foot ladder and a 12 foot ladder, but I do NOT want to fall!!! : - (((

I'm going to try suing SKYBOX F3 receiver, which is ONLY A TEST
RECEIVER. Maybe this weekend or so, to see if that makes any
difference, before I make a decision on whether which problem may be.

Hope all helps with answers.

Thanks,

Your on the wrong polarity. According to your 002.jpg your on vertical. These feeds are horizontal. It scans in ABC-1, 5, 7, 11 and for me running at 14.7 dB. Gotta look at the basics before twisting yourself into a frenzy.

Mega millions is on ses 2 ku band 12050 v 4800 and still simulcast analog on cband.
