Am I able to update or add new satellites via SD card on the Pansat 3500s?

How do you do it???

thanks

Yes. You use it by moving the card to a computer with a digital camera card reader, and use the sd like a floppy disk... then open the bin file in computer with channel master.

do i ge the satellite list from lynsat? if not where do i get it?

i've been looking but can't find any.

You can also enter the new satellites manually into Channelmaster. After you've opened your Pansat's fuile with ChannelMaster, In the left column, right click on "satellites", and choose "add satellite". You would enter the name, position, LNB type and freq. (Don't forget to set it for USALS, if you have a motor, which I assume you do, or why else add multiple sats?)

The list I use is located at:
http://www.lyngsat.com/america.html
for North American sats
and
http://www.lyngsat.com/atlantic.html
for Atlantic sats, some of which are receivable from the US. (See the thread: http://www.satelliteguys.us/showthread.php?t=74796)

If you only have a Ku dish/lnb, then only use the sats colored in yellow or green. (And, for the Echostar sats, you'll need a circular LNB. Most Ku LNB's are "linear".)

Channel master is the way, I agree. Takes like 30 secs, no cables.

:hatsoff:

okay, i'll try it. i was just wondering if i could cut and paste data to the channel master via data file and upload it to my pansat 3500s. is that possible?

instead of manually adding each satellite?
