SciFi has big some shows in HD. I wouldnt dismiss this. And besides, the upresed version would look a lot better than what we're getting now. D* getting these stations (even uprezed) would have me strongly consider switching if I was not in contract.

Yes SciFi has a lot of shows that are shown later on Universal HD in HD. But, that does not do DIRECTV (or Dish) any good if they do not have an HD feed uplinked somewhere for DIRECTV to retransmit. Yes standard definition can look good when not compressed, but it will still be standard definition until SciFi actually provides an HD signal.

or awhat teh latest ahour they ahev doen adn uplink

I don't think you can look at it that way. Since they can technically do an uplink within minutes. They've done stuff on Wednesday afternoons and then more overnight or early Thursday morning. I also remember some on Friday morning. It just depends on what they have in the queue.

Galaxy 14 transponder 18. It's not listed on LyngSat so it must not exist ;)

so what is memoriesofmojo reffering to? I'm new here, does he always get this excited or is this out of the ordinary? I would only get that excited for TBSHD so I can watch the rest of the sox game in HD. GO SOX!!

Veria is a health and wellness channel. Why on earth are they showing the moving "Seems Like Old Times?" Is veria included with AT250 or higher or $2.99 a month.
